In 2014 I traveled to Guatemala with a medical team from the Woman's Hospital of Texas out of Houston. We spent several days performing life saving gynecological surgeries on indigenous women in the mountain region of Santa Cruz del Quiché. It was exhausting, rewarding and humbling experience. Our team was able to spend 2 days in Antigua, a photographer's paradise.
